Photoshoots based on
Time For Portfolio
TFP stands for Time For Portfolio. This means we collaborate without paying each other in order to expand both of our portfolios. The collaboration is on an equal footing and focused on strengthening each other’s portfolios.
What do I expect from a model? You’re spontaneous, enthusiastic, and respectful in your interactions. Keeping your commitments is second nature to you. You strive for the best possible result, just as I do as a photographer. In short, we’re both fully committed to achieving a great result. I work on a TFP basis no differently than I do on a commercial basis. So I’ll deliver the photos within the agreed-upon timeframe. I’ll also give you the opportunity to choose a favorite from a selection of the best photos. Of course, I expect the same level of reliability from a model.
As the model, you may only use the photos for your own portfolio, website, and personal use (including on social media). Any commercial use of the photos requires my permission. Publishing them (or having them published) in print media or submitting them to photo contests is also not permitted. The photos are protected by copyright and are the property of the photographer. Under no circumstances is it permitted to alter or edit the photos in any way.
For this reason, I provide 5 photos as standard. This means you’ll receive more photos than you’ll likely need for your portfolio. If we’ve developed truly distinct styles, the number may be higher in those cases.
The goal is to gather portfolio-worthy material—photos that will strengthen your portfolio and perhaps even take it to the next level. This isn’t a free photo shoot to share with your family and friends. In practice, most (experienced) models and photographers use 1–2 photos to add to their portfolios.
Of course, we can make other, additional arrangements by mutual agreement. Are you seriously interested now? Then be sure to get in touch.
All photo shoots take place based on a signed agreement, which we’ll fill out at the start of the shoot.
